I chose the name Therapeutic Harbour because I believe counselling can provide a safe and supportive space during life's most challenging moments.
Just as a harbour offers shelter during rough seas, therapy can offer stability, understanding and support when you are feeling overwhelmed, distressed or uncertain about the future.
A harbour is not only a place of safety, but also a place of restoration. It is somewhere to pause, reflect and regain strength before continuing the journey ahead. In much the same way, counselling can provide the opportunity to process difficult experiences, develop greater self-understanding and build the confidence needed to move forward.
At Therapeutic Harbour, I aim to provide a calm, confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel heard, understood and supported as you work towards meaningful and lasting change.

My name is Faidra,
I am originally from Greece and have been living in the UK for over 15 years.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist at Level 7.
I have completed an accredited postgraduate training in counselling and psychotherapy and am currently working towards professional accreditation, demonstrating my ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of ethical and professional practice.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked within the NHS for over a decade, most recently as an Employment Support Specialist. In this role, I have supported people experiencing a range of mental health difficulties to rebuild confidence, overcome challenges and move towards meaningful employment and personal goals.
My therapeutic work is trauma-informed and guided by compassion, safety and respect. I believe that healing and growth are possible when people feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted.
I have a particular interest in working with trauma, domestic abuse, attachment difficulties and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences.
My aim is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, develop greater self-awareness and work towards positive change at a pace that feels right for you.
I work with adults experiencing a range of emotional, psychological and relational difficulties. Whether you are facing a recent challenge or struggling with the lasting impact of past experiences, counselling can provide a safe and supportive space to explore what is happening and work towards positive change.
While I have a particular interest in working with trauma, domestic abuse, grief and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences, I also support adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
People seek counselling for many different reasons. You do not need a diagnosis or a specific problem to benefit from therapy. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, stress, loss, life transitions or simply feeling overwhelmed, counselling can provide a safe and confidential space to explore your experiences and develop greater understanding, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I recognise that every person is unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
Rather than working from a single model, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt my work to your individual needs, experiences and goals. This allows therapy to be flexible, collaborative and responsive to what feels most helpful for you.
My aim is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, gain greater self-understanding and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

CBT explores the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It can help identify unhelpful patterns that may contribute to anxiety, stress, low mood or self-doubt, while developing practical strategies to support emotional wellbeing and everyday coping.

At the heart of my practice is the Person-Centred approach, which emphasises empathy, acceptance and genuine understanding. By providing a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space, therapy can help you explore your experiences openly, develop greater self-awareness and build confidence in your ability to make meaningful changes.

Attachment-informed therapy explores how early relationships and life experiences can influence the way we relate to ourselves and others. Together, we can identify patterns that may no longer serve you and work towards developing healthier relationships, stronger boundaries and a greater sense of emotional security.

Gestalt Therapy focuses on increasing self-awareness and understanding how past experiences may influence the present. It encourages greater awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviours, helping you develop insight, authenticity and a stronger connection with yourself.

Schema Therapy explores long-standing patterns, beliefs and emotional responses that often develop through early life experiences. By identifying and understanding these patterns, therapy can help reduce self-criticism, improve relationships and support lasting emotional change.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. Rather than struggling against them, ACT focuses on building psychological flexibility, helping you move towards a life guided by your values and what matters most to you.
By drawing on different therapeutic approaches, I adapt therapy to what feels most helpful and relevant for you. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, develop self-awareness and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
