Sometimes you know something isn't quite right, but you may not fully understand why you feel the way you do, why certain relationships are difficult, or why the past still seems to affect the present.
I offer trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy for adults 16+, providing a safe, confidential and supportive space to explore what you are experiencing. We can work together at a pace that feels manageable for you, with space to understand what is happening and what you would like to change.
I offer counselling in a number of ways, so you can choose the type of support that feels most suitable for you.

I offer in-person counselling for adults in Leicester, Narborough and Lutterworth, providing a private, confidential and supportive space for therapy.
I offer online counselling and psychotherapy for adults across the UK via secure video sessions.
Online counselling can provide a flexible way to access therapy from the comfort of your own home, particularly if travelling to appointments is difficult or you prefer to talk from your own space.

Sometimes talking while walking can feel easier than sitting face-to-face in a counselling room. I offer Walk and Talk Therapy for adults aged 16+ across Leicester and Leicestershire, providing a confidential and supportive space to explore thoughts, feelings and life challenges while spending time outdoors.
Walking side-by-side can help some people feel more relaxed, less self-conscious and more connected to the therapeutic process. Sessions are tailored to your needs and take place in suitable outdoor locations across Leicester and Leicestershire.
A safe space to understand yourself and move forward
You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin therapy. Sometimes taking the first step simply means having somewhere safe to talk, without judgement.
I believe in the importance of connection, empathy and understanding.
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, my approach is trauma-informed, creating a safe and respectful space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Therapy is not about being told what to do or being judged for how you have coped. It is about having the space to understand what has happened, how it may still be affecting you, and what you want your life to look like moving forward.

I do not provide an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to keep yourself safe, please call 999. You can also contact Samaritans on 116 123 for emotional support.

I’m Faidra, a Level 7 qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a Master's degree from an accredited course. I provide trauma-informed counselling for adults aged 16+ from my practice in Leicestershire, as well as online counselling across the UK.
My approach is integrative and grounded in empathy, safety and understanding. I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief and the effects of difficult life experiences.
You may come to therapy knowing exactly what you're struggling with. Or you may simply know that something feels difficult and you're ready for things to change.
I work with adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:
Many of these difficulties may be linked to past experiences, trauma, relationships or life events.
Counselling provides a safe and confidential space to explore these experiences, develop greater self-understanding and work towards meaningful change.
